Verizon awarded the Innov865 Traction Award to Kelly Tiller, President and CEO of Genera Energy. The award recognizes a Knoxville entrepreneur who has made significant progress in their industry and community. Genera recently secured a $200 million investment from Ara Partners to scale its operations and to support rural communities and decarbonize the packaging industry.
The Innov865 Alliance develops, supports, and promotes the Knoxville region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. It is a collaborative effort to celebrate and showcase Knoxville as a great place for entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses and increase access to capital.
