Mark Ushpol
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Ushpol serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Genera, leveraging 30 years of global executive leadership experience on three continents to transform industrial manufacturing companies and drive sustainable, profitable growth. Throughout his career in the packaging, paper, and engineered materials sectors, he has focused on building highly engaged teams delivering innovative solutions focused on consumer needs, while meeting the highest environmental standards. He has proven experience in uniting diverse global organizations around clear strategic priorities to execute disciplined, sustainable value creation.
Kelly Tiller
Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Kelly Tiller founded Genera in 2008 and grew it from a university spin-out to become North America’s largest vertically integrated biomaterials manufacturer, producing a range of agricultural fiber packaging and bioproducts from locally grown regenerative crops. Dr. Tiller spent the first 15 years of her career in academia as an agricultural and resource economist at the University of Tennessee. She is widely recognized as a visionary leader helping shape and advance the transition to a more circular bioeconomy and sustainable future, evidenced across her multiple congressional testimonies, federal advisory committee appointments, service on industry and academic advisory boards, and accolades spanning business, science, and leadership.
Asem Mokaddem
Chief Financial Officer
Asem Mokaddem brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience spanning investment banking, corporate development, and manufacturing operations to his role as CFO at Genera. He has a proven record of driving growth, optimizing capital structures, and supporting large-scale industrial transformations across the paper, packaging, and renewable materials sectors.
