Biomass supply chain development and service company eliminates supply chain gaps

VONORE, TN. Nov. 4, 2013 – Genera Energy Inc., a recognized innovator in sustainable biomass feedstock advancements and supply chain improvements was featured in the most recent issue of Biofuels Journal. The article, titled “Supply Chain Bridge: Genera Energy Fills Gap Between Crops and Processors” appears on pages 32 and 33 of the third quarter 2013 edition.

BioFuels Journal reaches a highly-targeted audience with editorial, operations and equipment news for the ethanol, biodiesel and advanced biofuels industries and is delivered to biofuels production facilities along with contractors, engineers, and others allied to the industry.

“Our position as a leading-edge innovator and supplier of renewable biomass feedstock crops has come with a lot of hard work,” said Kelly Tiller, Ph.D., President and CEO of Genera Energy.  “We’ve developed reliable, efficient and cost-effective supply chain systems that eliminate gaps by working directly with growers and farmers all the way to the biorefineries, making the coverage in BioFuels Journal especially timely.”

In addition to working on developing sustainable and economical feedstock crops, Genera’s services include biomass handling and preprocessing systems that encompass innovative methods for handling and processing feedstocks. The innovation in handling and processing has been developed through research and partnering with equipment manufacturers to customize the system to fit biomass feedstocks.

“I hope the take-away for readers is that this is an exciting time for the biomass and biofuels industry,” said Sam Jackson, Genera’s vice president of business development. “Genera has a history of taking new ideas and pushing the envelope, and we’ll continue to do that to create better results across the supply chain.”
