Genera Energy Executive to Speak at Biofuel Policy Event
VP of Business Development, Sam Jackson, to make presentation at Energy Biosciences Institute Biofuels Law and Regulation Conference
VONORE, Tenn. April 29, 2014 – Vice President of Business Development, Sam Jackson, will represent Genera Energy, a Vonore, Tennessee-based biomass feedstock supply chain enterprise, at the upcoming Sixth Annual Energy Biosciences Institute Biofuels Law and Regulation Conference. The event is planned for Friday, May 2, 2014 at the I Hotel and Conference Center on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Reimagining Policy Incentives for Biofuels,” and will focus on exploring new ways that biofuel policies can be reimagined in order to continue promoting growth in the developing biofuel industry. More than a dozen leading academic, scientific, government, and industry experts, including Jackson, will speak during the conference.

Jackson will speak on the topic “Removing Risk from the Biomass Supply Chain: Growing a Sustainable Pathway.” In his presentation, Jackson will discuss how Genera Energy’s state-of-the-art equipment and processes have helped the company deliver the highest-quality biomass feedstock product to downstream customers, while streamlining the growing, harvesting, handling, and storage processes as well.
